LARC 4710 - Chinese and Japanese Garden Traditions
3 Credits (3 Contact Hours)This course examines Chinese and Japanese classical garden traditions within the context of the classical arts. Emphasis is placed on understanding garden design principles that deal with scenery manipulation and visualization, as well as an in-depth study of the Chinese classical design language, grammar and vocabulary. Preq: Junior standing.
