IE 4460 - Modeling and Analysis of Manufacturing Systems 3 Credits (3 Contact Hours)
Promotes competence in developing and applying quantitative models to improve the design and operation of manufacturing and assembly systems. Emphasis is placed on the underlying principles and analytical models for guiding how resources (humans, machines, tools, information) should be utilized to facilitate the flow of production jobs through a facility. Preq: IE 3800 and IE 3810 and IE 4400 .
