BIOL 6400 - Developmental Animal Biology3 Credits (3 Contact Hours) Events and mechanisms responsible for the development of multicellular animals. Gametogenesis, fertilization, embryonic development, cellular differentiation, morphogenesis, larval forms and metamorphosis, asexual reproduction, regeneration, malignancy, and aging are analyzed in terms of fundamental concepts and control processes. Students are expected to have completed coursework in introductory biochemistry before enrolling in this course.
