PES (BIOL) 8240 - Mode of Action of Growth Substances

4 Credits (3 Contact Hours)
Study of the physiology and biochemistry of both natural and synthetic growth regulators, hormones, growth retardants, herbicides and other inhibitors. Considers methodology and mechanism of action. Students are expected to have completed coursework in plant physiology and biochemistry before enrolling in this course. Offered spring semester of odd-numbered years only. May also be offered as BIOL 8240 . Coreq: PES 8241 .
