BIOE 4350 - Computer Modeling of Multiphysics Problems 3 Credits (3 Contact Hours) This course will introduce students to a holistic way to deal with complicated engineering problems using a computer modeling approach. For example, a real-world problem governed by combined mechanical, electrical, thermal, electrochemical and mass-transport phenomena will be dealt with in an integrated and multidisciplinary way rather than the conventional piece-wise single-discipline way. Preq: MATH 2080 .
This 4000-level course has a 6000-level counterpart. Students should refer to the Graduate Announcements for the 6000-level description and requirements.
