Introduces recreation professions and organizations: government, voluntary, and commercial; overviews professional preparation; outlines development of man’s uses of leisure and evolution of recreation, city parks, natural resources conservation, and preservation movements as philosophical forces affecting leisure services. Restricted to Parks, Recreation and Tourism Management majors.
