STAT 2220 - Statistics in Everyday Life

3 Credits (3 Contact Hours)
Focuses on the role of statistics in a variety of areas including politics, medicine, environmental issues, advertising, and sports. Students explore common statistical misconceptions and develop an understanding of how principles of probability and statistics affect many aspects of everyday life. Not open to students who have received credit for MATH 3020  or STAT 3090 . Preq: Any MATH course or a score of 50 or higher on the Clemson Mathematics Placement Test.
