MATH 2190 - Introduction to Cryptography

3 Credits (3 Contact Hours)
Introduction to mathematical cryptography aimed at first- or second-year students with no background in abstract mathematics. Topics include properties of integers, polynomials and finite fields; basics of algorithms, symmetric and public key cryptosystems; and cryptanalysis. Preq: MATH 1060  and freshman or sophomore standing.
