MICR 6110 - Pathogenic Bacteriology3 Credits (3 Contact Hours) Study of pathogenic bacteria and their virulence mechanisms. Emphasizes host-microbe interactions, responses to infection and treatment, and research strategies for various topics of bacterial pathogenesis. Students are expected to have completed coursework in introductory microbiology, bacterial physiology, and immunology before enrolling in this course.
