ECON 4270 - Development of the American Economy 3 Credits (3 Contact Hours) Explores several topics relevant to understanding the American experience. Considers the institutions and developments critical to America’s ascendancy from a small country to a dominant global economic power. Investigates immigration, innovation, education, finance, and the changing role of race and gender in the economy. Preq: ECON 3140 and ECON 3150 .
