EES 4010 - Environmental Engineering 3 Credits (3 Contact Hours) Introduction to the field of environmental engineering. Topics include environmental phenomena, impact of pollutants in the aquatic environment, solid-waste management, air pollution control, radiological health, and simple water and wastewater treatment systems. Preq: Junior standing in the College of Engineering, Computing and Applied Sciences. Preq or concurrent enrollment: CE 3410 or CHE 2300 or ME 3080 ; or GEOL 4820 and either GEOL 4150 or MATH 2060 .
This 4000-level course has a 6000-level counterpart. Students should refer to the Graduate Catalog for the 6000-level description and requirements.
