ENGL 4430 - Theories of World Literature

Examination of the historical and contemporary theories of world literature, including theories of worldliness, planetarity, globalism, and late capitalism. These theories are used in pursuit of world literature on a worldwide and planetary scale. Preq: ENGL 2020 or ENGL 2120 or ENGL 2130 or ENGL 2140 or ENGL 2150 or ENGL 2160.
