ENR 3120 - Environmental Risks and Society

3 Credits (3 Contact Hours)
Examines the perception, analysis and management of natural and technological risks in modern society, such as how society responds to natural or human-caused disasters and global environmental challenges; and the roles of experts, the government and the general public. Case studies foster debate and critical analysis of controversial issues. Preq: Junior standing. Students must have completed the General Education mathematics requirement.
