ME 4300 - Mechanics of Composite Materials 3 Credits (3 Contact Hours) Develops fundamental relationships for predicting the mechanical and thermal response of multi-layered materials and structures. Develops micromechanical and macromechanical relationships for laminated materials emphasizing continuous filament composites. Discusses the unique nature of composites and the advantages of designing with composites. Preq: ME 2040 with a C or better.
