MICR 4100 - Soil Microbiology 3 Credits (3 Contact Hours)
Role of microorganisms in the decomposition of organic substances, transformation of nitrogen and mineral substances in the soil; interrelationships between higher plants and microorganisms; importance of microorganisms in soil fertility. Includes Honors sections. Preq: MICR 3050 ; and MICR 4040 or PES 4900 .
