Economic analysis of development of urban areas within the system of cities; central place theory and general equilibrium models of interregional economic activity emphasizing central place systems, spatial interaction and stochastic processes; internal development of the city focusing on housing and land use patterns, transportation and urban form. May also be offered as APEC 8310.
