EDSC 8420 - Advanced Studies in the Teaching of Secondary School Mathematics

3 Credits (3 Contact Hours)
Relationship between mathematics teaching theory and practice as shown in the research literature. Emphasis is on inquiry and other student-centered strategies. Issues and techniques in secondary mathematics. Students must have earned a master’s degree to enroll in this course or obtain consent of the instructor. Preq: EDSC 4260 or consent of instructor.
