MATH 8210 - Linear Analysis3 Credits (3 Contact Hours)
Normed spaces; Hilbert spaces, Banach spaces, linear functionals, linear operators, orthogonal systems. Students are expected to have either completed an undergraduate-level course in advanced calculus II or to have completed both an undergraduate-level advanced calculus I course and a graduate-level matrix analysis course before enrolling in this course. Offered spring semester and summer session only.
