CRP 8170 - Planning for Bicycle and Pedestrian Friendly Communities3 Credits (3 Contact Hours) Explores key aspects of active transportation, such as pedestrian and bicycle fundamentals; benefits and challenges of creating bicycle and pedestrian-friendly environments; and issues related to the planning, design, implementation, and assessment of such projects. Central to the course is a semester-long practical analysis of existing conditions and proposal for the betterment of an area.
