MATH 8810 - Mathematical Statistics3 Credits (3 Contact Hours) Fundamental concepts of sufficiency, hypothesis testing and estimation; robust estimation; resampling (jackknife, bootstrap, etc.) methods; asymptotic theory; two-stage and sequential sampling problems; ranking and selection procedures. Students are expected to have completed a course in statistical inference before enrolling in this course. Offered spring semester only.
