POST 8420 - Ethics and Public Policy3 Credits (3 Contact Hours)
Exploration of the ethical dimensions of policy by examining moral and ethical issues raised by problem solving and decision making. Evaluation procedures integrating ethical dimensions into policy assessment. Topics include model codes of ethics for public officials and comparable standards for privately employed policy professionals. Preq: Admission to certificate or PhD program in Policy Studies or consent of instructor.
