BIOL 4870 - Electron and Optical Microscopy Theory 3 Credits (2 Contact Hours) Offers a theoretical and practical introduction to light and electron microscopy. Topics include Koehler illumination, polarization, interference, phase contrast, DIC epifluorescence, laser scanning light microscopy, SEM, TEM, EDS, ultramicrotomy, tomography, and digital imaging. Preq: Consent of instructor. Coreq: BIOL 4871 .
