MICR 4130 - Industrial Microbiology 3 Credits (2 Contact Hours) Microbial aspects of large-scale processes for the production of foods, antibiotics, enzymes, fine chemicals, and beverages. Topics include strain selection, culture maintenance, biosynthetic pathways, continuous cultivation and production of single cell protein. Includes Honors sections. Coreq: MICR 4131 .
