MSE 4160 - Electrical Properties of Materials 3 Credits (3 Contact Hours) Covers a range of topics dealing with electrical and magnetic materials, including metal and polymer conductors, insulators, ceramic and polymer materials for dielectric applications, and ferroelectric, piezoelectric, pyroelectric, and electrooptic materials. Metal and ceramic magnetic materials are also discussed.
This 4000-level course has a 6000-level counterpart. Students should refer to the Graduate Catalog for the 6000-level description and requirements.
