MSE 4240 - Optical Materials and Their Applications 3 Credits (3 Contact Hours) Introduces the interaction of light with materials. Specific topics include fundamental optical properties, color, generation and detection of light, selected optical materials, and models for the interaction of light with insulators, semiconductors, and metals. Preq: MSE 3100 .
