CPSC 4180 - Usable Privacy and Security

Survey of the field of usable security and privacy with an emphasis on emerging technologies. Topics include authentication, location privacy, social network privacy, behavioral advertising, health privacy, anonymity, cryptocurrency, technical writing and ethical conduct of usable privacy and security research. Preq: CPSC 2150 or ECE 4490 or IE 4880 or PSYC 3100 or PSYC 3350 with a C or better.
