IE 4530 - Network Flows for Industrial Engineering Applications 3 Credits (3 Contact Hours)
Many of the logistics and supply chain optimization problems have a natural network structure. In this course, the following problems are discussed: shortest path, maximum flow, minimum cost flow, and minimum spanning trees. These problems appear as sub-problems in many real world applications. Preq: Either IE 3800 or MATH 4400 ; plus one of the following: CPSC 1110 , IE 4400 , MATH 3600 , or MATH 3650 .
