4 Credits (3 Contact Hours)Course for beginners in which, through conversation, composition, and dictation, the fundamentals of the language are taught and a foundation is provided for further study and the eventual ability to read and speak the language. Three hours a week of classroom instruction and one hour a week in the language laboratory. Coreq: GER 1011.
