PKSC 3200 - Consumer Packaged Goods Development 3 Credits (2 Contact Hours) Students gain hands-on experience in the development of a consumer packaged good (CPG), from initial design to functional prototype. Students engage in the technical aspects of CPG creation, including material selection, structural integrity, and packaging functionality. Using design software and manufacturing equipment, students prototype and refine their products to meet industry standards for durability, sustainability, and user experience. Emphasis is placed on technical skills and the practical application of packaging science principles, preparing students to produce market-ready packaged goods. Preq: GC 2070 or PKSC 2200 .
