PRTM 8360 - Executive Leadership and Governance in Public and Nonprofit Organizations

3 Credits (3 Contact Hours)
Examines executive-level theoretical knowledge, technical skills, and personal skills needed to successfully manage public and nonprofit organizations. Additionally, students learn leadership perspectives towards governance of these organizations and examine organizational-level case studies. Focus is placed on public and nonprofit organizations related to parks, recreation, tourism and related fields. Preq: Admission to the masters or doctoral program in Parks, Recreation and Tourism Management or consent of instructor.
