MATH 1160 - Contemporary Mathematics for Elementary School Teachers II

3 Credits (3 Contact Hours)
Continuation of MATH 1150 . Manipulatives and concrete models are used for properties, operations, and problem solving for integers, elementary fractions, rational numbers, and real numbers. Selected topics in statistics and probability are introduced with a hands-on approach to learning. Restricted to Elementary, Early Childhood, and Special Education majors. Preq: MATH 1150  with a grade of C or higher.
