YDP 3100 - Youth Development and the Family

3 Credits (3 Contact Hours)

This course focuses on youth in the context of family development and interpersonal family dynamics. Students gain knowledge and skills to strengthen families and foster youth well being. Students also gain the skills to develop effective programs involving the family unit and the ability to conceptualize youth development from a systemic perspective. Preq: Youth Development Studies minor.
