YDP 3250 - Working with Youth Populations Around the World

This course focuses on the populations served in youth-oriented programs and settings and explores how socio-economic, cultural, social class, and other differences influence youth development work. Emphasis is placed on developing practical knowledge of cultural awareness and sensitivity as they apply to the design of youth activities. Preq: Youth Development Studies minor.
