MATH 2800 - Introduction to Data Science

3 Credits (3 Contact Hours)
An introduction to methods and techniques commonly used in data science. These techniques provide a new lens through which to explore the issues and problems in the world. Students learn introductory concepts of analysis and computing, while working with real data. Preq: Any MATH or STAT course, or a score of 540 or higher on the SAT Math section, or a score of 21 or higher on the ACT Math section, or a score of 50 or higher on the Clemson Mathematics Placement Test (CMPT).
