AVS 3310 - Companion Animal Management

3 Credits (3 Contact Hours)
This course provides an in-depth understanding of companion animal management. Key areas of study include feeding strategies, housing design, and management practices for select companion animals. Students assess the companion animal industry and the biology of various companion animal species to formulate management solutions for the care of these animals. Preq or concurrent enrollment: AVS 1500 ; and either BIOL 1030  or BIOL 1100 .
