Forest Resources, MS


Program Requirements


Enrollment in the Master of Forest Resources and Master of Science programs is open to students who have earned a baccalaureate degree in forestry, forest products, or a related field. The candidate may be required to satisfy undergraduate deficiencies before being admitted to full status.

A formal thesis is required for the MS degree. The MS degree requires a minimum of 24 credits of coursework and six hours of thesis research (FOR 8910 ). One-half of the semester credits must be selected from courses numbered 8000 and above. FNR 8080  must be taken two tiemes for a total of two credits. FOR 7070 , if taken, may be taken for a maximum of six credits.
