Graduate Programs in Economics


The Department of Economics offers a PhD degree and a Master of Arts degree in Economics. In addition, excellent undergraduate students may enroll in the combined Bachelor’s/Master’s of Arts program offered by the department, in which up to twelve credits of graduate coursework can be applied to both the undergraduate and graduate degrees. Combined Bachelor’s/Master’s Degree


This program allows students to count up to 12 credits of graduate coursework toward both the bachelor’s and the master’s degree. Students participating in this program must major in either the BA or BS in Economics, have a minimum cumulative grade-point average of 3.4, and be admitted to the Graduate School prior to registering for graduate courses.
