Program Description


Enrollment in the Master of Forest Resources and Master of Science programs is open to students who have earned a baccalaureate degree in forestry, forest products, or a related field. The candidate may be required to complete undergraduate coursework before being admitted to full status.

Summary of Degree Requirements


Students must successfully complete at least 24 credit hours of graduate coursework plus at least six credit hours of thesis research (FOR 8910 ). Students are expected to take Graduate Seminar (FNR 8080 ) twice, for a total of two credits (or equivalent, as approved by the Advisory Committee). In addition to the required coursework, students eligible for graduation must complete and successfully defend a research thesis.
