Program Description
The Master of Construction Science and Management thesis-optional program provides students with a high level of skills and knowledge in the technical areas of construction project administration and control. Substantial emphasis is placed on advanced study in the field of business, in new and emerging techniques for construction project delivery systems, and in the administration of the construction firm. Thesis and non-thesis options are available. Summary of Degree Requirements
Thesis Program Option If selecting the thesis program option, the student must also satisfactorily complete a thesis on an approved construction-related topic. Up to nine (9) semester hours of thesis credit (CSM 8910 ) may be taken. In addition, the student must perform satisfactorily on a final oral examination related to the student’s thesis and program of study. Non-Thesis Program Option If selecting the non-thesis program option, the student must also satisfactorily perform on a written comprehensive examination covering the student’s program of study. Satisfactory performance on a final oral examination related to the student’s program of study is required in cases in which the student does not pass the comprehensive written exam. |
