Program Description
The 30-credit EdS degree in Counselor Education is designed for individuals who already possess a master’s degree in counseling and who seek to further their knowledge and skills in counseling. Most students complete the program on a part-time basis, taking one or two classes per semester, including summers.
Individuals choosing the Clinical Mental Health Counseling Emphasis typically are interested either in completing requirements for counselor licensure (i.e., LPC) or in advancing their knowledge and skills in mental health counseling.
