Program Description
The Bachelor of Science degree in Human Capital Education and Development is an interdisciplinary, comprehensive degree focused on organizational learning, assessment and development that prepares students for diverse settings across a variety of industries. Applying learning theory at the individual, organizational and societal levels, this program enables students to design effective training, change management, and career development programs to meet an organization’s or a community’s human capital needs. This program prepares graduates for careers in education and training; community development, government, and non-profit organizations; core sector-based industry areas of economic development; and systems improvement and organization development.

- PSYC 2010 ; one of STAT 2220 or STAT 2300 ; and nine additional credits selected from CPSC 1210 , HIST 3210 , HIST 3220 , PHIL 3250 , PHIL 3260 , PHIL 3270 , PHIL 3550 , PSYC 3240 , PSYC 3520 , PSYC 3640 , PSYC 3680 , PSYC 3770 , STAT 2220 (if not already taken), or STAT 2300 (if not already taken)
Support Area 4: Transfer Student Sector
- Completion of 15 credits in one of five technical sectors (1. Business; 2. Human Services; 3. Nursing and Healthcare; 4. Information Technology; and 5. Manufacturing and STEM) prior to transferring into the BS in Human Capital Education and Development program. A review of all coursework is required at the time of admission to the program.
Support Area 5: Approved Minor or Certificate

NOTE: A transfer course may not be used to satisfy the General Education Global Challenges Requirement. While a transfer course may fulfill other degree requirements, students must enroll in a Clemson course(s) on the Global Challenges list to fulfill the Global Challenges Requirement.
