Program Description
The Master of Education degree in Special Education is an online program designed for licensed Special Education (or related field) teachers who are interested in pursuing advanced knowledge and skills in research and practice relative to Multi-tiered Systems of Support. The MEd emphasizes research-based practices in academics and behavior, and includes coursework required for national Board Certified Behavior Analysts (BCBA). The program is intended to expand special educators’ content knowledge and expertise in academic and behavioral interventions, as well as supervision and mentorship skills required for leadership positions within schools.
