Statistics, Master’s Level Minor

Program Description

To meet the requirements for a master’s level minor in Statistics, students must complete MATH 6000 - Theory of Probability  or MATH 6030 - Introduction to Statistical Theory ; complete a minimum of three additional 6000- or 8000-level MATH or STAT courses, at least two of which must be at the 8000 level; and include a Mathematical Sciences faculty member on their advisory committee. These requirements are in addition to the master’s degree requirements students have in their major degree programs.
