Beef Cow-Calf Management Certificate

Program Description


The Beef Cow-Calf Management undergraduate certificate program consists of 20 credits and provides students with species (beef cattle) specific expertise in genetics, nutrition, data management, and assisted reproductive technologies currently used in modern beef cattle production. Particular emphasis is placed on the managing of cow-calf production systems, which predominate within the southeastern United States.

Students select three additional credits from AVS 2090 , AVS 3020 , AVS 3600 , or AVS 3900 .
