The primary objective of the post-baccalaureate Emergency Management Certificate is to provide a foundation of core coursework for public or non-profit sector professionals working in emergency management (EM). Its secondary objective is to ensure that emergency management professionals understand critical linkages of their field to the larger public sector and to the field of Homeland Defense and Security (HDS). All of the credits earned during the certificate program are fully transferable to the full MPA degree program.
