Art Minor

Minor Description

(15 credits minimum)

A minor in Art requires ART 1510 ; one of AAH 1010 , AAH 1020  or ART 2100 ; at least six credits of ART or AAH courses at the 2000 level or above; and at least three credits of ART or AAH courses at the 3000 or 4000 level. Students must declare an Art minor before they complete 60 credits. Students with more than 60 credits are not permitted to declare an Art minor as the minor program requires a minimum of four semesters to complete. Art and Visual Arts majors are given priority for registration in ART studio courses. Other students may request enrollment via waitlist.

NOTES:

• Nine credits at the 3000 or 4000 level are not required for a minor in Art, as approved by the University Undergraduate Curriculum Committee 2010.
• This minor is not open to Art BA majors or Visual Arts BFA majors.
