2 Credits (2 Contact Hours)Introduction to teaching addresses basic program requirements, College of Education Conceptual Framework, state evaluation system, the nature of the diverse and multicultural classroom, standards and practices of professional conduct and requirements in teaching. A field experience involving tutoring in a P-12 classroom is required. Coreq: ED 1051.
