ENGR 1020 - Engineering Disciplines and Skills 2 Credits (1 Contact Hours) Provides solid foundation of skills to solve engineering problems. Students demonstrate problem solving techniques with spreadsheets, dimensions and units; use modeling techniques and interpret validity of experimental results. Students design projects on multi-discipline teams. Introduces professional and societal issues appropriate to engineering. Various forms of technical communication are emphasized. Includes Honors sections. Preq: MATH 1050 with a C or better; or preq or concurrent enrollment in MATH 1040 or MATH 1060 with a C or better; or a score of 65 or better on the Clemson Mathematics Placement Test (CMPT). Coreq: ENGR 1021 .
