MATH 1990 - Problem Solving in Mathematics

3 Credits (2 Contact Hours)
Functions and graphs, mathematical modeling, and applications. Applications from management and life and social sciences are presented. Specific topics include linear, quadratic, polynomial, exponential, and logarithmic functions with emphasis on problem solving. Students who have received credit for any other mathematical sciences course will not be allowed to enroll in or receive credit for MATH 1990. To be taken Pass/No Pass only. Coreq: MATH 1991 .
