Introduction to physical laws that govern the equilibrium products of chemical and thermal reactions. Covers the three laws of thermodynamics, phase equilibria, energy requirements for reactions, material corrosion, and environmental stability. Preq: CH 1020 and MSE 2100 and MATH 1080 and PHYS 2210.
